What To Focus On

This phase invites you to deepen your unique birth plan and reflect on the birth and postpartum experience you envision. This is an empowering time to consider the support systems that resonate with you, including doulas and others who align with your values.

Signs to Lookout For

With increased energy and more noticeable baby movements, trust yourself to navigate changes in appetite or energy with ease. This is also a time to check in on any unusual symptoms or concerns.

Baby Milestones

Your baby becomes more active and begins to recognize your voice. By 20 weeks, you may learn your baby’s sex if you choose, and they establish regular sleep-wake patterns.
