What are Doula Services?
A doula is a person who provides emotional and physical support to you during your pregnancy and childbirth. Doulas can perform different roles, depending on your needs.
A Doula is a person experienced in childbirth who provides advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during, and immediately after childbirth.
A Doula provides evidenced based information on things such as infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother–baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care. A postpartum doula is there to help a client in those first days and weeks after bringing home a new baby.
Robins Cradle works alongside others in the birthing community and justice rights advocates also work to bring the Doula care model to people across the full spectrum of pregnancy issues, including abortion, stillbirth and miscarriage, fertility and sex.- RCDS in addition to these issues is also passionate about those clients who are often underserved and at risk birthers (teen birthers and those with no support)

As your doula, RCDS is committed to providing culturally congruent care to diverse groups of birthers with the goal of trauma prevention through proactive guidance, mediation, and advocacy. Our goals are informed by our values.
Robin is cool, calm, and collected. She is knowledgeable of your medical rights (though she isn't a medical professional) and the very person you would want to be on your side and advocating for you and your birthing plan. She has been present during both of child births (which were a year apart) & she will be present for all my births
